Meet Miss Chris
With over 30 years of experience in early childhood education, Miss Chris (Christiane Gurule) has dedicated her life to nurturing and educating young children. Fun Shine Child Care operates as a licensed home-based facility, providing the warmth and comfort of a home setting while maintaining the highest standards of childcare.
Our program emphasizes play-based learning that balances educational activities with creative free play. We believe every child is unique and deserves individual attention to help them reach their full potential.
Fun Shine participates in the USDA Food Program, ensuring all children receive nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day. Our facility is licensed by the State of Colorado (License #82734) with a capacity of 12 children and staffed by two dedicated caregivers.

All Funshine staff members maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications through accredited training programs. This means our caregivers are equipped to handle medical emergencies, administer first aid, and perform life-saving procedures if needed — giving you peace of mind that your child is in safe, trained hands every day.
